My lower back and my shoulders hurt like hell, and I have no idea why. Well, I have some ideas, but I don't know what's really causing it... It could be from ice skating, but I skated way more last year, and I didn't have any problems then. Or it could be from the new mattress on my bed, which is harder than my floor. >< When I sleep on my side on it, my shoulders get stiff and sore. But that never lasts more than a couple of hours in the morning. The last possible cause is playing too much Nintendo DS while sitting in a bad posture. ^^;;;; But that has also never given me problems before, no matter how long I play. And I always take a break at least every hour when I play... So I really wonder what's wrong now... >___< ----------------------------------------------------------- Maybe I really played to much XD I've been really into Tetris DS for a couple of days now, especially the touch mode is addicting XD But suck at the normal mode, I can only clear about 70 lines out of 200 ^^;;; But tonight I dreamed about tetris blocks, so I think I need to take a break from playing that for a while XD
I'm almost done with Dragonball DS. I collected all of the dragonballs and the wish was made, and now I'm stuck fighting against the huge Pilaf robot. I'm still amazed that a game this long only covered the first 13 episodes of the anime! Well, I'm not done yet so it's probably a bit more than that, but still... If they plan on making the entire series into games like this, how many games would they need to make!? XD;; Here's hoping that they'll continue into the Z era with these games. I really like this kind of gameplay. ^^
And yesterday I played Mario Kart for the first time in my life XD My little cousins have it, and when they found out that I had a DS too, they wanted to play it with me all the time. ^^;;; Luckily I have some racing experience from my brother's Need for Speed games, so I didn't completely suck at it. I even won a couple of times. ^^
Lastly, since I have some free time now, I think I'll try playing Pokemon glorious Heart Gold in Japanese for a while. I downloaded it to see what it looks like, and then I saw that the text is all in kana. So I think I can do it. ^^ It comes out over here in spring 2010, so if I like it, I can buy it then. ^^ --------------------------------------------------------------- I have 7 new doujinshi! 8DDDD I didn't think they'd arrive before the end of the year, but they did! It's like... more Christmas presents! XD I've got a lot of reading to do now! XD I didn't even finish reading everything from my previous order yet. ^^;;; So that means that I won't need to buy any more for at least a couple of months... Heck, who am I kidding XD I'll probably buy more anyways ^-^;;; -------------------------------------------------------------- Lol, One Piece myu, anyone? Even though I still don't really like Takasaki, I totally laughed at that picture. XDDD But I liked Seto's version better. Why isn't there an OP myu yet anyways? There's so many actors who would love to be in it, it's so popular! I mean, even Naruto got a musical, so why not One Piece too...? So my Hironobu Kageyama '98 Live CD and my Kai Song Collection cd arrived. Yay! :D I was surprised they even deliver stuff with this kind of snow...! It's like getting Christmas presents :D I listened to the Kai CD first, 'cause I was so curious about those new character songs, and... Horikawa Ryou singing in character as Vegeta is one of the most awesome things I've ever heard! This cd is worth the 20 euros just for that song, in my opinion. It's the second character song he ever did, the first one was... back in 1991!? Wow, that's when I was born. XDDD It really has been long... And 'O-ryouri Jigoku' wasn't even a real song, it was a recepe for okonomiyaki. Think like Inui's 'You get the Power', except way more insane XDDD But Horikawa didn't even sing much in that, and it was kinda out of character. But the new song, 'Saiyan Blood', is completely sung in character. That makes this new song all the more special! I didn't know he had it in him... <3 It's so cool, and catchy too! And the lyrics are just... <3 <3 <3 Oh, Vegeta... XDDDDD You can check this video to hear the song, with translated lyrics and some cute visuals added. XD Even though DB had tonnes and tonnes of image songs, they were never really big on the character songs. I hope this is the beginning of a new trend! I mean, there's lots of money to be earned there, right...? If they started releasing entire character albums... I'd probably buy it all ^^;;;;; Along with lots of other fans... It just works like that, if you take Tenipuri as an example; If it is made, the fans will buy it XDDD The Kai collection is pretty easy to find online for download, but the 98 live is nowhere to be found. At least, I didn't find it when I searched for it at first. (I wanted to listen before buying>< ) Just now I found it after digging around on some Japanese sites, but... ^^;;; So for anyone who cares, I uploaded it here. ^^ (And I uploaded it anyways in order to get the music to my laptop, so why not share the link... XD ) There's some great songs on there, but overall I would've liked it if there'd been some more fast rock songs. I think those are more suitable for concerts, and I just like them better when it comes to Kageyama's music. Sure, the slow songs are beautiful, but nothing really sets them apart from eachother to me, so one or two would've been enough. But then again, some of my favourite fast songs weren't created yet at the time of this concert, so I can't blame them for not being on the CD XD;;; ( Like Ore wa tokoton tomaranai and Super Survivor, the newer video game music. I like them even though I don't play those games at all. ^^;;; 3D character models scare me XP ) But just having Hikari no Will Power on it makes the cd worth the money. 8D The fact that it had THAT on it ( along with 'Unmei no Hi' and 'Mind Power') was the main reason I bought it, after all ^^;;; I'm so shallow, buying entire CDs just 'cause I want to hear ONE of the songs that are on it XDDDD;;;;; But I have money now so I can't help it! ^^;; Tags: dragonball, music Current Mood: happy Current Music: Super Survivor - Hironobu Kageyama

tacuma811 and nikki_aino , I got both of your cards! Thanks a lot you guys, I loved the fanart! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------- Does Takasaki Shouta like One Piece or something? He had a shirt with 'kaizoku-ou' on it in the Rikkaimyu backstage. XD I know Mao likes it... (doesn't he have Chopper pajamas?) It's really popular in Japan, isn't it? Some of my friends love it too, but other than drawing some fanart for them, I never really got into it. It's probably good, but it's... loooooooooooooooong! ^^;;;; I already watched too many long epic shounen series, and knowing myself, I'd want to marathon lots of episodes in a row and tend to forget about other things like studying ^^;;; It's fun to do that once in a while, but I can't use it right now ^^;;; ---------------------------------------- ----------------------------- Every time I keep being impressed by the Chinese Tenipuri drama series! The Golden Pair fighting scene was so... TT.TT It's so much more serious and mature... And the drama with Taka and his father also runs so much deeper. I thought it was so mean to make him choose between tennis and his family/the restaurant. Can't he have both...? TT.TT An interesting twist was that they mixed up the Hyoutei and Yamabuki stories for a bit. Here, they have Oishi miss the match because he is helping the injured Fudomine members who had an accident. That happened before Yamabuki, but Oishi being late happened before Hyoutei. Eiji also plays with Kaidou instead of with Momo. Oishi didn't get hurt himself here though, so I wonder if they'll ignore the whole story of Oishi and his injured wrist. Or are they going to repeat the same plot and do the thing with the pregnant woman anyways, but later? IDK, but I'm looking forward to finding out how this'll all play out. ^^ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Along with the lovely cards, I also recieved two CDs in the mail! I was going to listen immediately, but then I came to the shocking conclusion... I don't have a CD player here...! *epic fail* And I don't think my parents would appreciate Hironobu Kageyama rocking out in the living room, so... ^^;;; I used my old, old PC to rip the music, upload it, and then downloaded it again to my laptop. Talk about doing things the hard way. ^^;;; But now I have music! Yay~ ♪ ---------------------------------------

Yesterday night I got to ice skate for the first time this winter :DDDD The track in my village was opened after they removed all the snow from it. It was fun :33 But the quality of the ice was kinda crappy because of the snow, it was 'warm-feet-ice', as my dad calls it. XD That's because there's so many bumps and holes on it, that your feet vibrate a lot when you skate on it. So they stay warm XDDD And I didn't even fall! Well, one time, but that wasn't my own fault. That was when my dad was skating behind me, and he fell, and tried to grab on to me for support, dragging me down with him. ^^;;;; But I'm glad I haven't un-learned how to ice skate. ^-^ *tensai mode*
------------------------------------------
Over the last few days my mom and I took lots and lots of photos of the snow. Instead of continuing to bore you guys with one photo a day, I'll do a snow picspam post right now XD

(For those who don't know, my country is currently in a state of chaos because of unusually heavy snowfall. Travel is almost impossible. Guess what I did today... )
Do I really feel like recollecting the entire story of today's long, long journey...? Not really, even though it was all kinda exciting at the time. But now that feeling's gone, and I only wanna rest now. -_- But in a nutshell, at Schiphol we found out that our planned train didn't go at all. So we thought we'd try to get as far as we could anyways. So we got into one of the few trains that was there, thought we were going to Hilversum but ended up in Utrecht, which was a bit closer to the destination. There we got free coffee and tea. :3 And it started snowing even harder there, so for a moment they said that there would be no trains anymore. Gave us a scare, but then we found a train going to Zwolle, but at Amersfoort it stopped. Then they had to decide if they could continue, or had to go back to Utrecht. When they decided that it was safe to go to Zwolle, everyone in the train applauded and cheered. XDD There was really an indescribable mood at that moment. In Zwolle the train to Assen waited for ours to arrive, so we could get in immediately. So overall, considering the circumstances, we were really lucky. All of the trains were stop-trains though, so it took much longer than usual. I left Leiden at 11AM and got home at 6:15 PM. But... we made it :DD I wanna see the photos we took! Too bad the Tenipuri meeting's canceled though... But I guess we can't really expect everyone to get as lucky as we did today. XD --------------------------------------- This weekend was fun though :DD Friday there were problems with the transport as well, so I had to wait a couple of hours at Schiphol for my friends to arrive. I was going to pick them up, but as I was already on the way there, I got their message of the delays. >< But I got to eat oliebollen at Schiphol so it was okay. :33 T he sleepover was... let's say that it was very cosy. I have space for 3 people to sleep in my room, but we slept there with 5 people XD But it was nice and warm. ^^ And we celebrated Christmas and Sinterklaas, so that meant, presents! I'm really glad everyone liked the glasses I made. ^^
Yesterday we shopped in Leiden, and found out that it was the grand opening of the Nedgame store. (Finally XD ) So we looked around to see what they had. I ended up buying Dragonball DS (or Origins, as it's been re-named over here. It's the American version they were selling). The cover and pictures on the back were so cute, I couldn't not buy it. XD And I really enjoyed playing the first few levels in Japanese (yes I downloaded it, shame on me), so I know it's a game I will like. ^^ They also had Saiyajin Raishuu, but that was 40 euros (Origins was only 20 ) and I don't even know if I'll like it at all. XD (I didn't even know that was already released outside of Japan. ^^;;; ) But apparently there's also going to be a sequel to Origins, so I think I'll go for that one instead when it comes out. 8D Why are there so many Dragonball games anyways!? There's like, one every month or something XD;;;;; XD off-topic, much? What was my topic anyways!? I dunno, so I'll stop now. XD ----------------------------------------- Oh yeah, the new Tenimyu's out too. Kinda forgot about that. XD I'll watch it one of these days. If I watch it now, it means that the feeling of "OMG new Tenimyu, looking forward to watching it! LAKDNFDLKvf!!!" will be all gone. So I think I'll wait for a bit longer XD Tags: dragonball, fail, games, tenimyu, weather Current Mood: tired

"Trains and buses on schedule again". That's what it says on the NOS news website. That means that Mimi-tachi can come over here today (hopefully) without problems! Apparently they worked until 1 AM at night to get everything working again, and they're starting up the normal schedule again this morning for the trains and buses. :DDDD Oh yeah, my internet is back too. :D We thought the construction workers had broken it when they were working here, but somehow it has miraculously repaired itself overnight. XDDDDD I got up way too early >.< But I got out of bed as soon as I got up, 'cause I wanted to see if there's any snow. And there is.... about 1 cm of it XDD;;;;;; But the streets are white, so I say it counts. XD 4 hours untill the Kanji exam... What should I do with all that time...? ^^;;; ----------------------- Edit: OMG I really must be a genius! I... I... might've gotten a perfect score on the Kanji exam... !! I could write everything that was asked, so unless I made some careless mistakes.... OMG yay! 8DDDD Right now, the road in front of my room is like ice, so I had to cycle very carefully. But I didn't fall. Once I got to some bigger roads, it was better. And I found my way to the exam hall all by myself this time! :DD *proud* but I almost got lost on the way back 'cause the sun was too bright and I couldn't see where I was going ^^;;; Tags: university, weather Current Mood: happy
